Life-sized, plastic farm animals

Today was the 9,721st time I wish that I'd had my camera while running. At mile 5 of a 16-miler on the Iron Horse Trail in the East Bay, I came upon...and I'm not joking or exaggerating in the LEAST...a life-sized farm scene made out of plastic (or fiberglass?). There was a farmer, multiple horses and cows, a very happy pig, some sheep, and more. The list just goes on.

Seriously, who does that? Why is that a good way to spend your time and money? It's in their BACK YARD for goodness sake (not seen from the street)...surrounded by its OWN FENCE (i.e. not easily accessible for play time). The world may never know.

Though I didn't take a pic of the actual scene, I did find this gem online: fiberglassfarm.com - Would you like a taste of their wares?

Horsies!

Awwww, the little lamb

What the HELL kind of farm is this? And yes, it came from the fiberglassfarm.com website.
